Anti-Ackermann Steering Poster (Gray)

RM 90.42

The outer wheel on an F1 car is angled steeper in a corner than the inner wheel, even though the inner wheel needs to make a tighter turn! On regular cars it's the other way around and the inner wheel also turns sharper! The reason that F1 cars (sometimes) make the outer wheel turn sharper is because the immense centrifugal forces in the corner put almost all the weight of the car on the outer wheel. This also means that the outer wheel has almost all the grip! The inner wheel simply can't turn more without losing traction.

I'd love to see where you hang it! Feel free to send a picture in the Discord chat or tag me on Instagram.

Love,
Aldo
